On July 12, 2018, the Picture Language Project made an excursion to the Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research and Peking University School of Mathematical Sciences, courtesy of Professor Gang Tian and the School of Mathematical Sciences. The Project started the day off with a joint discussion session of mathematical research with some members from Peking University's School of Mathematical Sciences, including professors and students. Then project members headed to the Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research, located in part of the Old Summer Palace, for coffee and more discussion about mathematics with visitors and faculty. The visit ended with a lunch with members of the Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research.

Thanks to all at the School of Mathematical Sciences of Peking University and the Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research for their excellent hospitality.
