Title: A Maximum Entropy Rate Principle and Other Turbulence Related Results and Speculations

Abstract: We prove a maximum entropy rate principle for physical solutions of the classical Euler equation.

Physical ideas enter at two points, to identify as physical the solution defined by a uniform measure on the particle phase space and to identify this measure as defining an Euler equation solution. The remaining discussion is mathematical in its basis.

We also discuss other turbulence related topics: scaling laws for partially developed turbulence, speculations regarding possible super renormalizability of QCD and the nature of type Ia supernova.
